Saturday
Today it's 90 degrees and about 200% humidity. I love this weather. No, that's a lie. I hate this weather. Wake me when it's fall.I'm unhappy with my lot in life. What kind of universe would let Soul Coughing break up? Woe is me. If you've never heard the song "Screenwriter's Blues" then you haven't lived.

Tweaked the code on the page so it now works with Netscape. I hadn't checked my site for cross-browser compatibility. Gasp!Stupid, unforgiving, letter-of-the-law Netscape.

As they say in France, T.G.I.F. It's seems to have been a long week. Maybe this weekend I'll be able to do more design work on the site, and figure out the archive thing. I hope my earlier posts aren't lost forever! Think of all that profound thought, lost in the ether, without a backup! Okay, even I'm not that worried.Good lord, I sat up and watched game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals last night at A's place. Now understand this: I am not a sports fan. Not at all. The only major televised sport I even enjoy and understand a little is hockey, and that's mainly due to my brother's love of the game. So it's rare that I sit in front of a television and watch a game of any kind. Now, after watching the entire game last night, which went into three overtimes (that's six periods, nearly two full games), I am now not scheduled to have to watch another sports event on television until 2004. My quota is full.

Again with the busy-ass days. Took shadow pictures today for the website, and they turned out pretty well. Cranked out some other stuff, and muddled with code and server ops at an ISP. Ugh.N is home from Europe. She called a little while ago and I'll be seeing her this evening at Le Magnet. Tres chic!

It's been a pretty busy-ass day so far today. Working on a multimedia CD-ROM project with a program that has some rather glaring limitations, and a bunch of other stuff has caused the day to move pretty quickly, and now it's time to go home. I'll probably go grocery shopping, otherwise I will have no base food components. Turkey gravy and mustard do not a meal make.

d00d, I totally need to make a little atomsmasher button thing, the same size as the Blogger button over yonder. Possibly an animated GIF type of contraption. That would definately get me all the girls.Speaking of getting all the girls, Casio will be releasing a watch in September that has a digital camera in it. Is that soopa sexy or what? I'd like to get me one. The pictures aren't much better than the Nintendo Game Boy Camera I'm sure, but still, I'd be able to put tiny little black and white photos here on my site. That would be the end-all-be-all. Really.

Huzzah, it's nearly lunchtime. Wow, I just said huzzah. That's pretty messed up.Anyway, I wonder about this week. I don't know why, but I'm totally unprepared for what will occur this week. I don't know why, but I have this suspicion that this week is going to throw me a curve. Or maybe it won't, which may mess me up even more.

Sunday
Well, the reception was fun. My friend A (not A the bride, the other A, who's actually a guy) asked a girl to dance once the music started. She said no thank you, she didn't like to dance. She then proceeded to dance the rest of the evening with her female friend and even a few men. That's what we call a harsh shoot-down, ladies and gentlemen. It was entertaining for the rest of us, though.Just got back from seeing Mission Impossible 2 with R. It's certainly better than the first one, but it's no masterpiece.
