  Friday

I'm sitting here at my kitchen table blogging on my laptop because the monitor on my regular computer has gone all freakazoid on me. It's gotten all wiggly and squishy, which I admire in some things, but not in monitors.

It's been a long day of work, and now I have here, right in front of me, a list of things to do tonight that is nearly three meters long. Okay, that's not true, but I do have a dozen or more things to do before I can go out tonight. Oy. And then, I gotta wake up at the ass-crack of dawn and drive to Madison for a LAN party, which means I won't be posting tomorrow, since they won't have internet access there. Try and get by without me. You can do it.

Thursday

Yes, I wonder...what would I do for a Klondike bar?

Cranking out the web goodness today, making the company portfolio go. And wow, it's only and hour until lunch. What is it about working hard that makes time go more quickly? One would think that time would be more objective than that.

I'm not looking forward to the swim home this evening. The humidity is about 300%, but it's not hot. Just wet. I'm in a powerfully air-conditioned office, and my pants are still sticking to my butt.

I happen to love coffee and donuts. Donuts, when eaten with coffee, can make even the nastiest coffee taste okay. It's a miracle of modern science.

I have plans to take time and figure out the archive functions for this Blogger stuff, but the question is this: do my ramblings warrant an archive? Do people need to know what I thought two weeks ago? These are good and fine questions.

Monday

Okay, yeah, yeah. It's been a number of days since my last post. I agree. However, last week was very busy at work, and this weekend I was out of town and also busy for Father's Day.

Work was work, just beefier. Had tons to do, and then never got around to sitting around and posting from home. I was just busy as hell.

Saturday was another NEW LARP event, the live-action roleplaying game out in the woods with the hitting and the running and the throwing. It was a good time, but the mosquitos were like from a horror movie, just not quite as scary. However, today I am very itchy.

Sunday was good. Went over to my parents' for Fathers Day and we went to see Small Time Crooks with Tracy Ullman and Woody Allen. I really enjoyed it. It was a very different type of character for Woody, and it was refreshing.

And now, it's Monday. On with the working.
