My man A is very competative. And maybe a bitch.

I have to admit, I've never run into postal workers this helpful before. Thanks to K for the heads-up.

'If you are what they call "different" --
If you think we're entering a new Dark Ages --
If you see the universe as one vast morbid sense of humor --
If you are looking for an inherently bogus religion that will condone superior degeneracy and tell you that you are "above" everyone else --
If you can help us with a donation --

Then THE CHURCH OF THE SUBGENIUS could save your sanity!'

Maybe you've noticed the little d00d to the right. He is a StorTrooper representation of myself, if I was a little more sexy and pixelated.

I'm confused as to why California doesn't have enough power. Los Angeles is fine, because they generate their own power. Why doesn't the rest of Califonia? I mean, I don't live there and I may not know the whole story, but building a powerplant isn't that hard...I've done it hundreds of times. When your blocks start flashing the little lightning bolt symbol above them, you click on the powerplant icon, place your powerplant, and connect it to your city with those little wire thingies. Then your little people are happy. Have these guys even played Sim City? Sheesh.

The reason this affects me if because I believe this power outage stuff in Cali has made it so I can't read The Onion today. Their staff has been off for a month or so for the holidays (must be nice) and they finally came out with a new issue yesterday, but I was too busy to read it. Now, I try to read it today and it won't come up. Grrr. Hey! Guy running California! Click a few powerplants and connect them with the little wire thingies! I can't read The Onion over here!

Yes, one does tremble. Lookit, I'm trembling right now.

I love information. Information makes the world go 'round. When you get a good piece of information, it's like Christmas all over again.

Remember: QUIDQUID LATINE DICTUM SIT, ALTUM VIDITUR.

Translation: Whatever is said in Latin sounds profound.

It's the middle of January and it's been raining all day. In Wisconsin.

Went to Peabody's for the Jazz Orgy tonight, and there were 80 or 90 people there...I've never seen the place so busy ever. I came home.

Sunday

Went to Mongo's Mongolian Barbeque last night for H's birthday. Very tasty, and I'm always stuffed when I leave there.

Did some drawing and some web work today...also palyed some more Rune this afternoon. That game has really got a hold of me...I wish I knew why Old Man Murray hated it so much. Maybe it's not super-innovative, but I haven't wanted to stop playing it. It keeps me going, and I keep coming along situations where I just have to say "wow" a lot.
