I received my autographed copy of Oni today, straight from the publisher. It came with a demo disc, and a calendar, and some trading cards. I was very happy to see it, and I'm looking forward to playing it tonight, especially on my new 3D card. Yowza. However, I have a lot of stuff to get done tonight, so I can't play too much. I have to get the last few touches done on the t-shirts for Dummo, and I have to get a few more things done on the site itself. Then, this weekend is Work On TBCS Site weekend for me and R. I want to give the site a new look and make it simpler. I'm all about simple and minimal lately. Well, at least in web design. from atom @ 3/22/2001 01:45:23 PM | permalink | Sorry, been a bit busy. Ran ran ran all day yesterday until 9:30 p.m., then I just wanted to vegetate in front of a computer game. I bought a used copy of American McGee's Alice. It's pretty trippy, and you can really taste the American McGee. Tangy.So today I received my new video card from the best online computer place ever, Provantage. Ordered it Saturday, it shipped Monday and I got it Tuesday. And it was UPS Ground, fer chrissake! If I could get food and clothing from them, I'd be set. And tomorrow, I'll finally get my copy of Oni. I'm gonna need a bigger apartment, I swear. from atom @ 3/20/2001 11:27:12 AM | permalink | Well, a lovely St. Patrick's Day was had by many last night. S wore a kilt and was later convinced to take of his underwear. Most of us got a good, steamy look at his junk. Luckily, many of us were drunk, so that helped. We pretty much had the whole upper bar part to ourselves, probably because other folks were too afraid to get close.I just went to the coffee shop to get, of all things, a coffee. It's a beautiful day today, and it's really beginning to feel like spring out there. Luckily, I'll be indoors most of the day working on stuff.
