  Saturday

Okay, I'll lay this out to you one more time: if you're an alternative chick with pointy hair and wearing a big, thick black spiked dog collar, then you shouldn't have Holstein-patterned seat covers in your white Plymouth Sundance. This ain't rocket surgery.

I may have mortally sunburned my forearms today. I gotta stop going outside. What's wrong with me? Why do I keep going outside recently? I certainly know better. THERE ARE BEARS OUTSIDE. And the sun.

Thursday

Hey kids, I gots the strep throat! I've felt lousy since Saturday, and then I started feeling better, but my throat still hurt. Then last night I could barely sleep because every time I swallowed, my throat would burn and my ear would hurt. So I went in to the clinic and the doctor guy told me I had strep, which I haven't had since I was a kid. And it's spread to my ear, which sucks even more. Strep ear? Yes.

So I've sitting around a lot lately, glad to have electricity and cable and phone service and such, cuz we had a hurricane on Monday night, in case you hadn't heard. Not a hurricane per se, but as close as Oshkosh will ever get to one. 70 to 90 MPH winds, and stuff like that. There are people still without power, and this is Thursday. Not good. Luckliy, no one was hurt, but it was a bad time to be a tree.
