Saturday
Okay, a quick recap of the last few days' events: my birthday party was Tuesday night. My friends came...most gave me a dickie for my birthday (if you don't know what a dickie is, ask your mom) and I got other lovely presents as well. I also had 20 shots. Of booze. They went in my mouth. I swallowed them. Here's the scary part: no hangover the next day. I felt fine. Wednesday, my car wouldn't start. That's still a work in progress. Some sort of battery problem, I believe. Got to R and L's place, ate Manwiches, hung out with C who drove up from Fond du Lac. We had a lovely time. Watched the fireworks, and they were okay. Thursday I went to work, and then went to my parents' after for my birthday dinner and presents and cake. It was good, but they had to pick me up and take me back home cuz my car still won't start, which makes me feel like a loser. Yesterday, work, dinner, Peabody's. That was about it. Today, me and R are gonna try to get my car to work, and then I have a wedding reception to go to with C. It's a Hawaiian-themed reception, so I'm going to wear something much unlike a grass skirt, but still sort of the same. Came back here around 1 p.m. We played some Day of Defeat, and some Operation Flashpoint, and now I'm watching A and R play StarCraft and I'm playing a little 10six.
