I think anthrax is more of a flu-like thing, where I currently have the sneezing and the runny nose. So it's probably not anthrax. Today, I actually thought about getting a PlayStation 2, because I am crazy. My thinking was this: a) I'd like a DVD player, and the PS2 plays DVDs, b) then I could use it to play my old PlayStation 1 games, which would be sorta cool, c) there are a couple of cool PS2 games, that I would own, and a few others that I would rent, and d) I'm crazy. So we'll see. Oooh, new toys showed up at work today. Yay! I gotta put 256 more megabytes of RAM in my workstation now. from atom @ 10/16/2001 11:18:28 AM | permalink | The way things are going, I'm not buying a console gaming system this year. Both the X-box from Microsoft and the Game Cube from Nintendo are coming out in November, but a) there will be shortages (either on purpose or due to incompetence) and b) they're being sold as bundles, so a customer has to pay $500 and get three games. But what if you don't like one or two (or all three) of the games? Tough cake, says the console manufacturers.Maybe I'll buy a used one.
