Where to Find Models for Chrome Rangers

Chrome Rangers is a fast-paced one-on-one 28mm mech fighting game. As it is miniature agnostic, that means you can use any miniatures you’d like to use. One of the most common questions we always receive when release a new game is – “Where do I get miniatures?”

We put together this guide of potential miniatures you can utilize for Chrome Rangers. As always, these are only possibilities. You can use any miniatures you find appropriate; you can kit bash your own minis from bits or use anything from your collection. They’re your minis and it’s your game!

Mech Miniatures

  • Games Workshop Robots (Warhammer 40k) ranges have a load of miniatures that are more than ready for your table – this includes Imperial and Renegade knights, Tau robots such as the Stormsurge or Eldar Wraithknights. There’s big Horus Heresy robots, too!

  • One Page Rules: The excellent OPR has robot models that could print to stand in from The Maker’s Cult and the Human Defense Force.

  • My Mini Factory: If you are looking for 3D printable files, there is no better source. There are near endless options of mechs that you can 3D print or even print to order.

  • Gundam: The Gundam kits have an incredible range of models in different levels of complexity and can often be gotten from your local hobby stores and FLGS relatively cheaply. These are perfect robots for your tables and size is right on.

  • Bandai also makes 30 minute mission (30mm) a stellar line of simple and cost effective robots that you can easily utilize to defend (or ravage) Dorado.
